National Scholastic Art and Writing Winners

The National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition is the largest and most prestigious art competition in the nation. Each year thousands of students across the country enter for a chance to win scholarships, publication opportunities, and national recognition. Past winners have included Andy Warhol, Sylvia Plath and Steven King.

The following students from La Salle won awards in The National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition this year:

  • Sophia Aviles - Honorable Mention for the category of Sculpture
  • Robert Baghdasarian - Honorable Mentor for the category of Sculpture
  • Sophia Culver - Honorable Mention for the category of Sculpture
  • Jianxi Ding - Honorable Mention for the category of Digital Art
  • Katareena Roska - Honorable Mention for the category of Poetry
  • Anna Chen - Silver Key Winner for the category of Poetry
  • Yuxuan (Barbie) Zhang - Silver Key Winner for the category of Drawing/Painting
  • Jaden Steinhoff - Gold Key Winner for the category of Film/Animation
