Message from the President: Learning, Serving and Leading Together

Dear La Salle Community,

I am blessed to have this opportunity to thank you for your sacrifice, perseverance and strength demonstrated throughout the last school year. As we enter the month of July, we truly count our blessings: We sent off our Class of 2021 with spectacular, in-person ceremonies, we announced our intent to return to on-campus learning in the fall, and we’re welcoming new students and families to our community in August.

Below, you’ll find a short video that I’d like to share with you all. It captures the essence of our school community over the last 12 months and expresses our forward-looking, positive outlook for what the next school year and beyond hold for us:

Beyond celebrating, recognizing, and honoring the last school year, I am equally optimistic about what our future holds. We have a robust faculty, led by our new principal Mr. Jamal Adams, ready to welcome your students back to campus. We have an eager staff, ready to support your students as they transition back into their pre-pandemic routines. And we have a refreshed administration team, ready to lead, innovate and adapt to the “new normal” we now face.

Ahead of our official return to campus on August 16th, please be sure to participate in the many opportunities available to you and your students throughout the few weeks. I’d also like to invite you to a Virtual Meet and Greet with Mr. Adams on Wednesday, July 21 at 6:00 pm.

While you will have many more opportunities to meet Mr. Adams, especially after the start of the school year, we’d like to provide you with this first, early opportunity during the summer, as we are eager to introduce him to all of you.

As we collaborate with our local government leaders and health experts regarding our reopening, we continue to plan for an in-person school year and can’t wait to have you back with us.

Thank you for your continued support of La Salle and our entire community. Your prayers, words of encouragement, and support have helped to make my first year as school president memorable and cherished.

Sincerely,

Perry Martin, M.Ed.
School President
