Homecoming 2022 Honorees

At half-time of the Homecoming Football Game on October 7th all Athletic Hall of Famers in attendance were honored on the field. Attendees included:

Jack Weigand '60 (Basketball 1957) - Jack is a Retired Sales Engineer for the Electronics industry.
Michael Johnson '62 (Track & Field 1960) - Mike attended USC and then Santa Barbara College of Law. He is still working as a CPA and does Consulting work in the area of Tax Resolutions issues. He resides in San Luis Obispo, has two grown children and 5 grandchildren.
John Blackstock '67 (Track & Field 1966)
Alan Hiti '71 (Baseball 1971) - Alan is recently retired from the USC Keck School of Medicine, Department of Pathology, where he was a Professor of Clinical Pathology. He and his high school sweetheart, Linda, live in Walnut. They have been married for 46 years and have two sons and two grandsons.
Mark Charvat '72 (Basketball 1972) - Mark attended Cal State LA and started his family business, The Outlet by ELS, in 1996. He and his wife Julie have two sons, Brian '95 and Jason '97, and his grandson Tyler is a current freshman.
Tony Exposito '74 (Soccer 1974) - Tony attended USC and is a licensed Mechanical Engineer and is a partner in a small construction company that builds commercial/residential solar electric systems.
Dino Clarizio '75 (Soccer 1973 & 1975) - Dino attended USC and then UAG Medical School. He has been an internal medicine doctor in Arcadia for 35 years and is former Chief of Medicine and Chief of Staff for Methodist Hospital.
Mark Rettig '77 (Basketball 1977) - Mark works in commercial construction and real estate. He and his wife Carol have three grown sons and live in Pasadena.
Jeff Allen '84 (Basketball 1983 & 1984) - Jeff attended UC Santa Barbara and is currently the CFO for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. He and his wife Cheryl have three daughters and reside in Sierra Madre.
Chris Rettig '84 (Golf 1984) - Chris attended LMU and is the proud parent of 2 Lasallians- CJ '19 and Holly '25.
Kevin Delaney '89 (Cross Country 1988 & 1989, Track & Field 1988) - Kevin attented LMU and serves as a Vice President with Netzel Grigsby Associates; a leading non-profit management firm based in Southern California. He is married to his wife Kim, and has 10-year-old twins - Anthony and Gloria.
Mark Barr '91 (Water Polo 1991, Track & Field 1991) - Mark attended UCLA and is the Head Coach of Women's Aquatics at San Marino High School. Since taking over the swimming program in 2008, San Marino has 7 league titles and 8 consecutive undefeated seasons. Mark is also the Head coach and COO of the South Pasadena Seatigers, a club swimming team.
Jesse Toribio '93 (Baseball 1993) - Jesse spent 14 years in law enforcement as a field training officer and detective before medically retiring in 2011. He Began teaching and now serves as Assistant Principal of Activities at San Gabriel High School. He and his wife Deadra have two sons Jesse Bailey, Class of 2015, and Noah.
Ryan Rettig '94 (Football 1994)
Erik Kachmarsky '96 (Water Polo 1996, Swimming 1996) - Erik attended St. Mary's College and then the University of Washington for his MBA. He currently leads programs for product development in ADPs innovation center. He and his wife Erica live in Pasadena with their two children who are both at La Salle, Avery '24 and Grace '25.
Jason Charvat '97 (Baseball 1997) - Jason attended USC and has been working in the family business for over 20 years. He is married to fellow La Salle graduate Krista Lindsay '96 They have two children and their son Tyler, Class of 2026, is a 3rd generation Lancer!
Ryan Garcia '97 (Football 1997)
Matt Sanderl '97 (Water Polo 1997) - Matt attended Seattle University and then UCLA for his Master's. He and his wife Amy, have two children and reside in the San Fernando Valley.
Dan Sheridan '98 (Soccer 1998) - Dan attended LMU on a soccer scholarship and helped lead the Lions to their first ever NCAA Division 1 Playoff appearance. He obtained his California Single Subject Credential in History from Cal Poly Pomona and his Master's Degree in Curriculum Design from Concordia University. Dan currently teaches History and is the Social Studies Department Chair at La Salle. He also formerly coached multiple sports at La Salle including serving as the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach from 2004-2014.
David Taylor '98 (Football 1998, Track & Field 1998) - David attended St. Mary's College and is currently teaching US History and English at Monrovia High School. He and his wife Kippy have two children and reside in Monrovia.
Sam Lamb '00 (Baseball 2000) - Sam is a third generation State Farm Agent. His four team member agency focuses on protecting and educating families from the unexpected and helping small business owners properly protect themselves.
Devin Grant '01 (Track & Field 2001) - Devin attended Cal State LA and is working as a Case Manager for Pacific Clinics.
Tamara Bryant '02 (Track & Field 2002) - Tamara attended Coastal Carolina College and is currently an Environmental Consultant living in San Diego. She published her first book in 2020 and will be publishing book two later this year.
John Caulfield '03 (Football 2003, Track & Field 2003) - John attended UCLA where he was a Division 1 All American shot put. John and his wife Vanessa, Class of 2002, live in Sierra Madre with their son Jack.
Nick Forillo '03 (Baseball) - Nick is an Account Executive at Alliant Insurance Services and spends most of his time on the baseball field coaching his sons who play in the newly formed Mustang and Pinto divisions at Sierra Madre Pony. Nick and his wife Danielle (Gallagher) '03 live in Sierra Madre with their boys, AJ (8) and Mikey (5).
Nathan Housman '03 (Volleyball 2003) - Nate attended the California Maritime Academy and the University of La Verne. He is currently working as a Construction Project Manager in Los Angeles and lives in Pasadena.
Kevin Kohorst (Tennis 2003) - Kevin attended LMU and works for the family business. He and his wife, Kate, have two children (William age 9 & Charlotte age 6) and reside in Pasadena.
Natalie (Calderon) Moultrie '03 (Track & Field 2003) - Natalie attended the University of Redlands and completed a Joint Doctoral Program in Audiology with UC San Diego and San Diego State. She is an Audiologist for HearUSA in Claremont. She was Inducted to the University of Redlands Hall of Fame for Track & Field in 2016. Natalie resides in La Verne and has two daughters, Elliana (6) and Emsli (3).
Dan Saldana '03 (Soccer 2003) - Dan attended Sonoma State University and is the owner/founder of Saldaña Fitness based in Sierra Madre. He and his wife Jacqui have three kids and currently live in Sierra Madre.
Kjersti (Housman) Holyfield '04 (Basketball 2004, Track & Field 2004) - Kjersti attended Azusa Pacific University and both LMU and St. Mary's College of Minnesota for Master's degrees. She serves as Vice Principal for Curriculum at La Salle. Kjersti and her husband Anthony have three children and reside in Sierra Madre.
Amanda Evans '05 (Swimming 2005) - Amanda attended UC Irvine where she was a member of the Division 1 Rowing Team for the Anteaters. She is working as a Sustaining Engineer for a production facility specializing in HVAC and oil and gas industries in Burbank and is working on her Master's in business management and leadership.
Edwin Scott '06 (Track & Field 2006) - Edwin is the product manager for Griot Productions LLC and also works as personal trainer for athletes. He is the father of three beautiful children; 2 boys and a baby girl.
Matt Kohorst '07 (Baseball 2007) - Matthew attended the University of Kansas where he also played baseball for the Jayhawks. He works in real estate investment and recently married Jennifer Serdienis on September 17, 2022.
Westley Riley '07 (Track & Field 2007) - Westley is currently studying computer science at Grand Canyon University. Aside from his studies, Westley is also the Chief Executive Officer of On Demand Everything Incorporated.
Luke Eisenhardt '08 (Track & Field 2008) - Luke attended UCLA and received his Master's from UC Santa Barbara. He lives in Bishop, CA with his wife Ellie Lawther and works as an Air Quality Specialist for the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District.
Stephanie Ferri '13 (Softball 2013) - Stephanie attended Fordham University where she played Division 1 softball for four years. She now works for Nestle as a senior business analysis and spends her free time volunteering at a local dog shelter and coaching youth softball. Stephanie lives in Washington DC.
Noeh Martinez '13 (Baseball 2013) - Noeh played 2 years of baseball for Santa Barbara Community College and 2 years at San Francisco State University. He is currently the School Health Coordinator for Maranatha High School as well as the assistant Varsity Baseball Coach.
Bryce Shaw '13 (Football 2013) - Bryce graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is currently in his 3rd semester of nursing school with an expected graduation date of spring 2023. For the past two track and field seasons, Bryce has served as La Salle's shotput and discus coach.
Briley Venti '13 (Soccer 2013) - Briley Is currently pursuing his masters in leadership and management at the University of La Verne while working as a personal trainer, property manager, and graduate assistant for the university's Men's soccer program.
Melissa Mena '14 (Cheer 2014) - Melissa attended Pepperdine University and currently works for The Walt Disney Company as a corporate advertising account manager. She served as an assistant cheer coach for La Salle in 2015 and has loved being able to see her two younger sisters be part of a team that she so thoroughly enjoyed.
Jason Young '14 (Soccer 2014) - Jason attended the University of Arizona and is currently working as the plant manager at Allan Company Recycling in Baldwin Park.
Jesse Bailey Toribio '15 (Golf 2015) - Jesse attended Cal State San Bernardino and is currently working on his Teaching Credential and Master's in Adaptive PE at Cal Poly Pomona.
Tyler Anastasia '16 (Golf 2016) - Tyler attended the University of Mississippi and is currently a general manager for Nolan Transportation Group in Austin, Texas.
Kyle Cuellar '16 (Baseball 2016) - Kyle graduated from UCLA in June of 2021 and now is working in the sports media industry.
Rebecca Islas '16 (Basketball 2016) - Rebecca graduated with her Master's in Public Administration in June from Cal Poly Pomona and is currently working as a child development specialist.
Christian Little '16 (Basketball 2016) - Christian graduated from Regis University and is working as an accountant for Dish Network Headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

Josh Yee '16 (Football 2016) - Josh attended Occidental College and took a hiatus from grad school to pursue poker and has been playing professionally since April 2021.
Sammy Martinez '17 (Baseball 2017) - Sammy attended UCI and is now in his first year of graduate school at Concordia University working on his Masters of Coaching and Athletic Administration. He is also a graduate Assistant Coach for the Baseball team.
Daniel Costello '18 (Cross Country 2018, Track & Field 2018) - Daniel graduated from the University of New Mexico and is currently volunteering at the Santa Ana Zoo in hopes of pursuing a career in conservation research.
Celine "CJ" Akroush '21 (Soccer 2021) - Celine is currently playing soccer for the University of Redlands where she is pursuing a degree in health, medicine, and society. While red shirting her freshman year, she won most inspirational player.
Peyton McMillan '21 (Volleyball 2021) - Peyton is currently pursuing a career in Real Estate.
Mia Pavon '21 (Cheer 2021) - Mia attends the University of Redlands and is a psychology and Spanish major. She is also a member of the Delta Kappa Psi sorority.
John Alvarez '22 (Track & Field 2022) - John is attending Cal Poly Pomona where he is majoring in Criminology. He counties to run in college and is planning to join his school track team come season.
Savannah Robles '22 (Water Polo 2022) - Savannah is attending Cal Lutheran where she is also playing Water Polo.
Carissa Santoyo '22 (Cheer 2022) - Carissa is attending California Baptist University where she is on the D1 NCAA 9X National Championship Cheerleading team and Group stunt. She is majoring in Health Science and pre-Dentistry.
