Congratulations to the Academic Decathlon Team

Our Lancer Scholars are back on campus after returning from a triumphant week in Prague at the Global Round of the World Scholar's Cup. They represented La Salle with distinction, competing with over 500 international students representing 20 different countries.

All three of our teams finished in the top 10. Aidan Suyapto '23, Adrian Kong '23, and Meizha Candelaria ’23 finished tenth place; Arthur Camara ’24, Katareena Roska ’24, and Matthew Tesoro '24 finished in fifth place; and Zacky Culver ’23, Tomas Posada-Awad '23, and Andrew Lai ’23 finished in second place.

Our scholars also had tremendous success individually. Arthur Camara claimed First place in the overall competition in addition to claiming Top Writer.

Within the Multiple-Choice Tests, our Lancers won a whopping 48 individual medals, with Meizha Candelaria earning a top spot in Art & Music, Zacky Culver in Science, and Arthur Camara in both Social Studies and Literature & Media.

Way to go team! We are so proud of all your hard work, dedication, and the way you carry the Lasallian spirit wherever you go.

When you see your fellow Lancers on campus, be sure to congratulate them on their well-earned success!
