Gracie Turner '21 recently published her first paper in the American Journal of Human Biology, along with her mentor Dr. Amanda Veile. This is her first paper with Purdue University based on her research regarding indigenous women’s health in Peru. Gracie is currently a sophomore at Purdue majoring in biomedical health sciences with a minor in anthropology. She plans on continuing her research and hopes to bring attention to women's health in South America, specifically women in poverty.
