Alumni Month of Service is a unique opportunity to unite La Salle grads through community service. With over 7,000 alumni living in nearly every state, the potential to have a positive and meaningful impact in the community is enormous.

During the month of April, Alumni were encouraged to:
•Volunteer! Projects were organized in Pasadena, the Bay Area, Orange County, San Diego & New York City.
•Get involved in a service project in their own community
•Share their volunteer experience and pictures with the La Salle community for a chance to win alumni swag!

By volunteering, alums embody the mission of La Salle College Preparatory and salute their Alma Mater's commitment to service to others.

PASADENA

The Alumni Association partnered with the Pasadena Salvation Army to put together hygiene kits for the homeless. Alumni donated $1,350 to fill over 120 hygiene kits which were assembled by Alumni volunteers on La Salle's campus on Saturday, April 27th.

BAY AREA

Alumni in the Bay Area volunteered at the CityTeam Oakland shelter making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for those in need on Saturday, April 20th.

ORANGE COUNTY

Alumni in Orange County volunteered with Patriots and Paws in Anaheim on two different dates in April to help inventory donations, stock the shelves and help veterans “shop” for the items they need.

SAN DIEGO

San Diego alumni volunteered with I Love A Clean San Diego on April 20th for a beach clean-up in Ocean Beach.

NEW YORK

New York City alumni volunteered with the Fort Tryon Park Trust on April 21st to remove debris and weeds, and prepare the site for planting.
