La Salle Students Raise Funds for Haiti

La Salle Students in conjunction with Student Life held a fund raiser for the people of Haiti on Friday, January 15, 2010. The students and faculty donated nearly $4,300 that afternoon. La Salle’s Cultural Awareness club donated another $2,000, bringing the total close to $6,300. All of the money is being given to Catholic Relief Services for Haitian relief. During the past week, many La Salle students have participated in impromptu prayer services in the School Chapel.
