You, too, can create miracles by touching the hearts of the children  entrusted to your care!

This statement from the Meditations of Saint John Baptist de La Salle commemorating the Feast of Saint Peter is one of my favorite Lasallian quotes. For me, it captures the essence of the vision and mission of the Founder of the Brothers of the Christian Schools: to bring school children closer to God by providing them with the tools to make a life for themselves in this world and a place in the next. This is the twofold purpose of every Lasallian school across the globe: “to provide a human and Christian education to the young, especially the poor.”

At La Salle High School of Pasadena, we honor this mission in our simple, but profound effort to produce good students and good people through a comprehensive college preparatory education. By comprehensive I mean that, at La Salle, each student will find his or her own niche inside the classroom and out. With over 20 varsity teams, an outstanding - and award winning - Visual and Performing Arts program, and a wide array of co-curricular activities, every student entrusted to our care can find a way to nurture their unique attributes.  All of this is accomplished in a community environment in which the most common adjective used to describe life at La Salle is the word “family.”

As you move through our website, we hope that you will note this broad array of programs and services available for the students entrusted to our care. Because we seek to serve academically capable students from all walks of life, we want to make sure that there is something for everyone at La Salle. Please feel free to contact any of us with questions you may have about the special world we call La Salle.
