Service Immersion Trips

El Otro Lado Tucson

The El Otro Lado immersion program will provide students with the opportunity to explore the issue of immigration. Students will develop a broader understanding of the issues that affect border cities and their outskirts by participating in service and educational activities. They will also share the experience with students from San Miguel High School in Tucson. The experience includes cleaning the desert, putting out water for migrants as well as witnessing trials for migrants at the federal court, and visiting a Border Patrol station. Prayer and reflection are an important component of the program.
